Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs)
Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs) provide essential information about investment products to help investors understand the nature, risks, costs, potential gains, and losses of the investment product.
Each KIID follows a standardized format to allow for easier comparison between different investment products and includes:
- Fund objectives and investment policy
- Risk and reward profile (typically on a scale of 1-7)
- Charges for the fund
- Past performance information
- Practical information about the fund
KIIDs are designed to be clear, concise, and written in non-technical language to ensure accessibility for all investors. By law, these documents must be provided to potential investors before they invest in a fund.
